WENDY : "Sunday, the day before the concert my friend already came to stay with me for the night. We planned going to sleep around ten o'clock, because the next morning we had to get up very early. Our train was leaving at 7.33am and the alarm-clock was set at 6.45am. But ofcourse we couldn't sleep! We were much to enthousiastic... Finally at 3.00am we were quite......"

"What's that!? Oh my God, why did we set the alarm-clock this early? Why did we want to go to Utrecht so early? Both of us agreed we were tired. But then we remembered! Today's the big day! Today we will finally see Boyzone!!!! And all of a sudden we were awake! We were really awake. My parents laughed at us, because we were so happy. We didn't eat anything, we were to nervous!! My mother brought us to the train and we were only just in time....".

"After a journey of two hours we finally arived by Vredenburg. A couple of fans already sat there. Two girls had already arrived at 3.30am!! Almost the same time I went to sleep!! We had taken some pillows along with us and sat down with the other fans. It was really nice to meet all the Boyzone fans. I don't know that many fans in The Netherlands and I guess that isn't strange... Only six hundred tickets were sold.. The concert wasn't even sold out!!"

"We were lucky the weather was good, because we had to spend the whole day outside. At first we sat, but around 3.00pm a camera from TMF (The Dutch MTV) came and everybody went all excited and stood up... I was lucky, because the security let me sit on the fence... I was really lucky."

"At five o'clock one group was let to the door and ofcourse I was with them, so was my friend. Then we stood in front of the door untill seven. They didn't open the doors one minute before seven. At that time I was really tired and I was asking myself what could be worth all this! But once the show started I remembered!!"

"Finally at 7.00pm they let us in. "Everybody stay calm and no running!" we were told. Yeah right!! As soon as we were in, we started running. I stood really great, only two meters from the centre of the stage and on the first row. I had a really good view."

"At 8.15pm the show began..... Two guys came on stage. Nobody knew who they were, but they were great. We had a great laugh with them. They really looked at us and talked to us. I was already screaming and at a point I was afraid I would lose my voice even before Boyzone had come on stage. The two guys sang four songs and I only knew the last one.. 'Sexual Feeling'. The boys went of stage and the lights went on. I asked the security-guy who those boys were, but he didn't know. He went backstage to ask and came back. They were 'Alibi'. I had never heard of them, but they were really nice guys and I definitly love them."

"At exactly 9.00pm the real show began. First there was music from 'The Boys are back in town'. (Which was strange, because this was there first concert in the Netherlands!) Then the musicians came on and everybody started screaming. I almost went deaf, but I screamed just as loud! And then they came, the five Boyz we had been waiting for the whole day! Now I really went deaf, it was great standing on the first row, I could see everything, every smile, everything!"

"The music started playing and the first song was, 'Strong Enough'. Everybody screamed and I was pressed against the fence. I could bearly breathe, but I had the best night of my life."

"Mike and Ro where cheerful. They put out there tongues to each other and during the whole show they lauched at each other and tried to make the other laugh. After 'Strong Enough' it was time for 'Togheter'. The Boyz had some great dance routines!! "

"The third song of the evening was 'Paradise'. Ro, you did a great job on that one!! After this was, 'What Can You Do For Me'. Also a great song."

"Then came 'Here to Eternity'. It was Mike's turn to sing and he did a great job. (Ofcourse he did) After that came 'Believe in me' and Ro was standing really close. My heart started beating, it was the first time I saw him in real and so close. Wow!! During 'Believe in me' Steve and Shane had to share the microphone and Steve let the microphone-stand down. Shane started laughing and couldn't sing anymore! After a few seconds he was alright again. Steve had taken back his own microphone and just as Shane wanted to start singing, Steve let down the microfone-stand again. Now Shane laughed and he didn't stop untill the end of the song!! I laughed with him. Mike and Steve left the stage at the end of the song."

"The song was over and Steve came on stage in a white suite that was very beautiful. He started singing 'Don't stop looking for love'. I was suprised to hear him sing it so good and so easy. It looked like he could sing a few tones higher easily!!"

"Then my favorite came, 'Said and Done'. The other Boyz' came on stage and sang the song amazingly. After this it was time for there new song 'Isn't it a wonder'. It is new over here! They released it two weeks ago, but everybody knew the words, ofcourse. After the song, Keith made us scream 'Bloke Power' and six hundred girls screamed 'Girl Power'. That was fun. Now we went back in time. 'Love me for a reason', was on and after that 'Father and Son'. Ofcourse Ro let us sing the couplets. He only sang the chorus with the other Boyz. Then came a re-mix of 'Night Fever', 'Staying Alive', 'Blame it on the Boogie' and 'Celebrate'. That was fun. Everybody started jumping up and down with the boyz!"

"After this medley Ronan announced a new song, 'Picture Of You' was to be next. We all new the words already.... After this they sang 'I'll be There' and that was it. The Boyz waved at us and left the stage. We all screamed for more and we got more! The Boyz came back and had a surprise! Bridget also came on stage. (Bridget is from TMF) She sang 'Words' with the Boyz, I couldn't here if she sang good, because the boyz sang louder then she did. Maybe we will hear it on television next week!! After 'Words' Bridget left and Boyzone sang 'So Good'. At that time Steve was standing in front of me and he looked at me! He probably didn't see me, but that's beside the point! Wow, I almost fainted, I must admit. I always laughed at people who said that, but not anymore!!"

"Now it was time for the last song of the evening, 'A Different Beat'. Mike winked at me.... (At least, that's what I think! You can't blame a girl for dreaming, can you?) And for the millionth time, my breathe was taken away... After this the Boyz bowed and Mike almost killed Ro!! Those two where like that the whole evening!! Than the Boyz went of stage again and the lights came on. Now it really was over........."

"We all left the room and talked about our great evening. Everybody was content, and more. It was without a doubt, the best evening of my life and I can't wait for the Boyz to come back..... Till next time guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
