Our Hero (Clive Darby) has a painting fall on his head while asleep in a Blackpool guest house. When he wakes up he thinks he's King Arthur, arisen to save his kingdom in it's hour of need.
That was all OK ... if he hadn't found a suitcase containing £1 million under his bed ... that's when everything went crazy.

Arthur soon finds that he is not alone - Merlin (James Bolam) has joined him in his quest. Merlin, a former small time conman turned cab driver has one million good reasons to follow Arthur, and they have all got the queen's head on.



Together the two gallant warriors go in search of the Knights of the Round Table.

Arthur has one aim - to save England.
Merlin has one aim - to get rich quick.
The Knights have one aim - to stay out of prison


What starts as a crusade for Arthur and a straight forward con for Merlin escalates into a hilarious scramble after an elusive bag of money.
