The succefssful candidate will appreciate the need for full development documentation including theoretical design analysis and support documentation, Engineering Design Specifications, Test Plans and associated Test Specifications. Using and writing software to support the design process, use of teh in-house CAD / CAM facilities, preparation of all documentation associated with developing designs through to production.

Thorough knowledge of antenna test methods and associated problems is required. Programme and cost management of antenna development work packages. Prepareation of technical proposals and costed programmes for future business.

Aged 26 years plus, with a BSc / MSc in Electrical / Electronic engineering or Physics with a minimum of 5 years experience in the design and development of broadband antennas and/or randomes. You should be computer literate with the ability to writye software in Fortran, Visual Basic, or C/C++.


Radio Communications Systems Engineer, Berks, £20k - £25k

Our client is ;looking to recruit Systems Engineers for their Systems Engineerig Department. Ideally the successful candidate should have a degree / HND in Electronic Engineering, have five years experience, preferably in radio related disciplines, and experience of communications systems design for a variety of installations both fixed and mobile, is preferable but not essential. Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and with a flexible change of task wil be essential.

Duties include design of radio systems (HF, VHF, UHF, SHF) to fulfill cantract requirements, and will involve the definition of system inter connections abd interface considerations. The candidate will be expected to liase with a variaty of development departments, marketing and customers.
