This page was originally intended to point out other WWW sites devoted to The Professionals but as there are so few out there, we have expanded this section to cover other areas as well.

  • Micky DuPree has created an episode list which includes full cast credits here with the added bonus of including some uncredited actors. Well done, Micky!

  • Under development, but with a full episode guide already in place, is Marina Bailey's site which also covers many popular sci-fi shows such as Star Trek and Highlander.

  • Alternatively John Smith's page also provides an excellent cast-list for each episode and also covers other classic Brit favourites Minder, Blake's 7 and Survivors. Great stuff!

  • For The New Professionals, check out Renate Gorke's new website which is coming along very nicely!

  • Although not aimed at The Professionals, if like me, time stopped still for you after 1976, then you will enjoy Andrew Burford's set of pages containing links to many TV shows, movies and groups of the Seventies. (Hurrah for Boston!). Cheers, Andrew!

  • Similarly, James Peters' site is a comprehesive page of links to dozens of other WWW sites dedicated to the best in Brit TV. In fact James nominated mine as his first 'Site of the Week'! I must be doing something right, then?! Is there an Oscars equivalent for WWW sites? The 'Websters' perhaps?

  • Werner Schmitz' site looks at a number of classic British crime drama shows from the 1970's, including The Professionals, The Sweeney, Target and Strangers. Mainly German language only at the moment but English translations are on their way. (You could parse the text through AltaVista's wonderful Babel Fish translation service.)
  • Of interest to us nostalgia fans is Sean Hughes' site which brings you those wonderful Brit TV station logos from the 1960's to present day, as well as soundfiles of the accompanying jingles!

  • The Independent Television Commission, which licenses and regulates commercial television in the UK now has its own website. There are some on-line documents concerning the depiction of violence. Rather than condemning it, they recommend that clear on-screen warnings be given. Certainly sounds sensible to me. Hope you find it interesting.

Well that's it, really! If you know of any more, please let me know!
