Martin King's Page

WELCOME

This page is an introduction to some of my interests and activities around the net. Details of my involvement with educational and church issues can be followed by using the links to other pages.

Education

By profession I am a teacher, holding the post of Head of Physics at Verulam School in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. We have two major projects underway involving the use of the Internet in school. Details of these can be found by following the links from my Verulam School page. You may also wish to see the notes on a talk I gave at the ASE Annual Meeting at Reading University on 4th January entitled "The Use of Computers in the Science Laboratory".

Home

My home is in Berkhamsted, an ancient market town nestling in the Chilterns. I am married to Helen, who teaches at Egerton Rothesay School in Berkhamsted. As you may have guessed we like rabbits! We have two, Big ears and Isosceles, who will soon be having their own web page.

Church

Berkhamsted has several churches and I attend St Michael and All Angels' Church of England in the Sunnyside area. It is a lively, evangelical church. Further information about the town and my church involvement can be found on the respective pages.

My Internet connection is through U-Net, who have provided the space for these pages on their server.
