If that doesn't qualify as the prototypical title for a hot-to-trot sweeps movie, what does? Wholesome Melissa Joan Hart, the former star of Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains it All," plays a bad girl in this NBC melodrama about a conniving teen who persuades her lover (Jeremy Jordan) to murder her parents. Much as this sounds like the twisted story of conniving school teacher Pamela Smart, who persuaded a student lover to murder her husband, the network tells us its film is "inspired by actual events." Oh.
