THE MAGIC IS IN THE NAVEL
Peep the middle: If you watched carefully during Showtime's "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" movie, you saw star Melissa Joan Hart sporting a little navel ring. "The director and the other producers and Showtime, they weren't too thrilled about it," the 20-year-old told us. But Melissa and her mom were the producers of the movie, too, and "I wasn't going to take it out, because it would close up too quick, and that's too dangerous for me." The former "Clarissa" star has had the ring since Thanksgiving 1994. She got it because "I saw Janet Jackson in one of her videos, and she had like a belly necklace on... and I loved it." You might see the ring, and you'll definitely see Melissa, when you check out "Sabrina" at 7:30 p.m. Central Time Fridays on ABC. Quick words: Superman, maybe inspired by his TV buddy, marries Lois Lane in the Oct. 9 edition of "Superman" comics, three days after it happens on ABC. ..."ID4" was the top movie of the summer, raking in $281.9 million. ... If you need a few nickels, ask Oprah Winfrey: Forbes magazine says she earned $171 million in two years.
