STEPHEN BOYZONE'S
GOSSIP
COLUMN
Howdee! I have oodles of lovely gossip
for you! So are you sitting comfortably?
WHAT A STAR!
America, the highlights... Well, one
has to be meeting an old mate from home in the New York Disney Store, completely
be accident!
Another was the musical Les Miserables playing in the theatre across
the street, and then us doing a photoshoot in Central Park! I saw fireflies
for the first time - I'd no idea what they were, glowing in front of me!
They don't bite - but they do burn, ho ho!
MICHAEL AND ME!
What can I say! I met Michael Jackson
when he was performing in Dublin - and, yeah, he did look weird! He said,
'Hello!' - and I said 'Hello, thanks for meeting me' and he said, 'No problem!'
I met his mum too. She sat in front of me during the performance, watching
her family videos on the screen - the Jackson Five, Janet, everyone. Brilliant!
HERR BEAN!
We did the Mr Bean premiere
in London - I loved the movie, couldn't stop laughing - but then a few
weeks later we had to go to the German prmiere too - the dialogue was dubbed
into German, and everyone talked like that old TV series Heidi. Very
strange.
OOPS...
There's one bit in the film Mr Bean
where he's on a flight simulator-thing. I'd just been on a simulator
in San Antonio, and he did all the same daft things that I did... All I'll
say is that it was just like watching myself... uh-oh, do you think I'm
turning into Mr Bean?
AND NEVER AGAIN!
We've just been go-karting - and I
don't like go-karting cos the other lads always run me into the tyre barriers
and I always finish last! I'm putting my foot down and saying next time,
we have to go bowling, ice skating or sailing... mind you, I can't ice
skate either!
EXCLUSIVE WIN!
Listen up, because I have a very special
Hard Rock Cafe basaball cap, signed by us all, to give away as a souvenir
of our trip to America. To win, just tell me the title of our Hercules
song...
Anyway! I'm running off to lunch now. I've kept Shane waiting downstairs for ages already. Until next time, take care!
God Bless, Steve xx
