STEPHEN BOYZONE'S GOSSIP COLUMN

Welcome again to my column this month! I've been sooo busy working in South America, doing a European tour and playing my Muppet Treasure Island game, I've hardly had a chance to think! Anyway, here goes....

BIRTHDAY KNEES-UP !
Hey, happy birthday to me! I celebrated my 21st birthday when we were in Argentina. We went for a meal ( I had Argentinian steak - V tasty ) and then on to a bar and danced all night long! It was an evening I'll never forget - although I can't remember half of it!

MEETING MADONNA - NEARLY !
Did you see us performing 'Isn't It A Wonder' on TOTP by satellite from Argentina ? I was sooo excited cos we performed right next to the building where MADONNA made her balcony speech fromin the film Evita!

NOT POSH ENOUGH !
We were in Brazil on Oscar night and there was a private Oscars dinner party held downstairs in our hotel. We, erm, managed to get ourselves invited but when we went in everyone else was in black tie posh outfits and we were all in our jeans! Still, we stayed at the posh do and had a good night again!

DRIVING ROUND THE BENDS !
We spent a day in Rio with ANDI PETERS who's making a TV documentary about us to be screened this month. We also went to the Formula 1 track at Interlagos. Racing commentator MURRAY WALKER gave us a tour and showed us some of the racing cars - I even tried on some helmets! I thought it was amazing, and you can imagine what the other lads thought!

SPICY MENU !
Apologies for not having a Stephen cake recipe handy ( as promised last month ), so here's some food for thought instead, heh heh! Whenever we go to a new city we always like to eat in a hard Rock Cafe. I always order spicy buffalo wings for starters, followed by fajitas and topped up by milkshakes all round. The boys always have vanilla where as I plump for fruity strawberry every time.

Well, hopefully that's filled you up! I hope to see you on tour somewhere, so until next month, God Bless!
