Test Results |
Your Doctor may either ask you to make another appointment to discuss the results and implications of the tests, or invite you to ring the Reception for the results.
If you wish to ring for the results, we would be grateful if this could be done during the afternoon or at least after 10.30am, when the phone lines and Reception are not as busy as the earlier part of the morning. (when urgent requests for medical help are most frequent)
The results of pregnancy tests are NOT given over the
telephone.
Your Doctor or Nurse will give you an authorisation slip to
present in person to Reception which will give the necessary
authorisation for disclosure.
If you are not clear on the results, or wish to know more, please ask the Reception to leave a message for the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, who will then ring you back when they have finished their surgeries.
