I really only bought this set because The Entertainer in Basingstoke was selling them off cheaply.
I have never liked LEGO people and therefore don't have much time for Technic LEGO people, so with that in mind...
There is a lot of red LEGO used here (surprise, surprise) with lashings of grey and a bit of blue.
Features include the usual front wheel steering, a hose arm that moves up and down, and a rear hose
on a drum that for some odd reason has a ratchet (in case the hose gets tangled with the trunk of
a stampeding elephant perhaps?). The hose on the end of the arm looks quite good and the cab
interior features lots of stickers for added detail.
The main problem I have with this set is that is doesn't feel like it should be in the Technic
range. Maybe that's because it is one of the larger starter sets.
