This is another one of those sets that I didn't think I would like before I built it but it has
some nice original features that make it a desirable set.
The ship is red, black and white with a few bits of grey thrown in for good measure.
The hull is mounted on wheels that can be steered via a central steering wheel. The steering
mechanism is clever in that it uses a system of push rods to turn both the wheels and the twin
propellers at the back of the ship (rear wheel drive!). The front wheels are used to drive the
propellers round. The arm at the rear can be rotated, raised
or lowered and the hook can also be raised or lowered.
It is good to see models in the Technic range other than cars and trucks and there are enough
interesting features in this set to warrant a closer look.
