This is really two models in one box.
The first is a yellow and black forklift truck featuring rear steering and a fully functional,
tilting lift unit controlled by a lever and a wheel at the side of the cab.
The lift mechanism works well, making use of a worm gear and a chain. The forklift can be
transported by the second model which itself comes in two halves. The cab is a two seater in
red and black with front bull bars, two fuel tanks and a clever mechanism to lock the trailer
in place. The red, six-wheel trailer features an operational stand and a ramp at the rear
which can be raised or lowered via a crank at the front of the trailer. I'm not too keen on
the excessive use of red LEGO but the two in combination stand up well when compared with
the later models (which I think are improving with each year).
